Something that bugs me a little is that people are sorta mistaken about Soundation v PFX. Soundation “acquiring” PowerFX is not a recent 2025 thing at all. I’m not super sure on the specifics but Soundation was a project by the PFX team and they focused on it after they were no longer doing Vocaloid

The Banana Fish AI dub is trash, but it’s also such an insult to the source material, which is an INCREDIBLE piece of art. Everyone who worked hard on the manga+anime deserves better. EN VAs who would’ve been overjoyed to work on a dub deserve better. And *YOU* deserve better!
