First, @luminouslyiii.bsky.social and I collabed on Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, where we took on many strong new monsters that were part of the game's title updates.

Then, I played GBVSR ranked, and went from S+1 -> Master rank with Sandalphon.
Sandalphon, a character from the video game Granblue Fantasy. He has brown messy hair, a brown jacket under black armour, a white hood collar, white long shirt sleeves, a chestplate, shoulder pads, and I think black armour on his arms, with large purple swords floating behind him. Last time, I went from S+5 to S++5 with Nier, and this time, I plan to push to Master, unless queue's inactive and/or viewers want to play.

Wrote a Steam review for Little Goody Two Shoes halfway into my first playthrough, very much enjoying this game

I'm looking forward to figuring out how to get all endings and completion once I finish my first playthrough (where I'm staying unspoiled, and looking up very little)
A Steam review for Little Goody Two Shoes, a mystery and horror RPG-adventure game with 3 lesbian romance options. My review reads: "Went in knowing very little with no expectations, and I'm very pleasantly surprised by Little Goody Two Shoes. Very enjoyable game, delightful and fun horror. I'm really enjoying the mystery and how much I'm thinking about how much each character lets on about, if anything they say or do makes me suspicious of them with what's going on, and the countless small details and background details scattered throughout the game, as well as trying to spot inconsistencies or oddities with what characters say. And I will never say no to more yuri, very much fearing (in a good way) if it'll be tragic, or if everything will be okay, and I know there's 10 endings, so I'm very excited to see them all. I assume they'll lean one way or the other, or anything in-between depending on the ending. This game has the most extra presentation of all time, and does the most extra things to polish up everything about it, and I honestly love it and still smile at all the small touches whenever I notice one, and at how much love and effort is put into every set piece the game has. I'm maybe halfway through my first playthrough, and I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite games, and one that I highly recommend to others. Very refreshing to play an affordable, lovingly-made game in every way with such great writing, art, and music in a time where lots of games just push out gen AI slop, or rely on skinner boxes that keep asking for more money."

I know it's not much with the ranked changes that make climbing easier from a while back, but I hit S++ for the first time in GBVSR just now!

- Very much enjoyed the story and dialogue for this one. Characters like Taiki, Rice, and Haru really shine

- I like the team mechanics, wish it was fleshed out more, but I understand them not wanting to overcomplicate it

Day 1 of current CM in Umamusume went well

I'm scared of the really strong frontrunners we've gotten in the game since the last medium CM, and how I'll do against them in round 2 and finals, but I did well with my prep and building my favourites so I'm happy regardless of results in those

Revisited Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards for the first time since I first played it in middle school

Review below:

It is a 2000s video game focused on being an alternate playable retelling of the Battle City arc of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. I beat the game. It's short and easy to cheese with its mechanics, and it offers an interesting take on the rules, but the game was definitely designed for its era when you'd chip away at it over time, play it on car rides, and it was one of your few games each year if you were like most kids (I was) and were encouraged to take your time with each game you owned. By that, I mean it can be beaten in a few hours if you rush, but you're meant to take your time, duel everyone including faceless NPCs, grind duels to get cards and upgrade your duelist level and deck limit, and visit the card shop frequently because it updates stock when you duel. I like the music, I like the sprite work, the writing is just the anime's story in an alternate timeline but far worse, the player character design is sauceless, you can only play as a boy with 0 dialogue, and it feels like the game would just be better if you played as Yugi. There's few good strategies besides either deckbuilding to counter specific opponents with the type system, which is incredibly tedious, or make a really cheesy deck that establishes free board presence and takes advantage of aggressive AI. I found the best strategy was to stuff my deck with traps that destroy attacking monsters since they have a low cost for the capacity system, and allow you to set up your board safely, tribute for something that's too strong for the opponent to deal with, then snowball. Every opponent feels the same, they barely use spell or trap cards, they do very little to have their own identity, they just throw monsters at you endlessly. There is no card search feature, and the sorting feature at its best still makes you scroll through many cards to pick out what you want in your deck. It's a 5/10. It's a game I thought was amazing at the time, roaming around the city and dueling people is a neat RPG concept that I feel an indie game now could pull off a lot better, but it does not deliver outside of the sprite work and music.

How my CM is going in Umamusume:

Finally won a solo run of Everdark Libra

Yes, I'm two-handing a great shield. It was an accident, but I was so kill on sight with everdark Libra that I finished him off with jump attacks after my last ult.

Yes, I forgot to use my consumables entirely too. I feel silly for that.

The boss is Libra, a very large, gray goat-man standing on his hind legs with many unnerving golden eyeballs all across his body, giant golden eyeballs on the inner ends of his horns, and regular goat eyes where they would normally be on a goat's face as his real eyes, his fur coat is disheveled and looks really rough due to succumbing to madness, a powerful golden entity in Elden Ring that gives the wearer great power in exchange for their sanity and self-control. He harnesses the power of madness. He is a strange traveling merchant who can appear on the map randomly to offer deals that have one massive upside and one massive downside, and he initiates fights in his arena the same way, offering a set of deals you can either accept one of or decline before fighting him. He is holding a large staff in his left hand, right of viewer. He is leaning back in pain, dying with his HP at 0. The sky above him is gray and swirly, and endless sand/ashes (not sure which) makes up slight slopes and hills spanning across an endless arena, where its purpose is for Nightfarers like Wylder (the protagonist pictured here) to beat the Nightlords (enemy boss goat man pictured here).

Stealth Chaser, a customisable front vehicle part for speed vehicles in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. It costs 100 donpa tickets, and is a chunky black hood section of a vehicle with large circular arches above where the tires would be, and it has a purple outline at the bottom, and middle purple stripe with a yellow highlight in its centre.
