seestars are pretty solid! i just signed up for itelescope which is great considering it's been nothing but clouds here, so my astrophotography rigs have been sitting inside, sad and longing to view the heavens. even better because now i can image southern hemisphere targets, too! beginnings of LMC!

I still hate wrestling with PixInsight, but I love my iTelescope subscription and having access to scopes in the southern hemisphere. First light from Chile on the #LargeMagellanicCloud - still need to add my narrow band data, this is just 120s LRGB, 135mm focal length, tweaked on iphone

Thankful for all 6 of my sweet kitties this Thanksgiving, but this post specifically to call out my youngest #NorwegianForestCat who isn't one to want to be picked up and cuddled (unlike her big sister (1st cousin) who is my snuggle bug), Moiraine. She's really gotten lovey lately! #catsofbluesky

so guardian played an entirely different set than the one they played friday night in ft lauterdale, which online somebody accused hansi of "gracefully saving his voice as an aging singer." which i took offense to, as a singer, but anyway. let's just say hansi was not saving himself tonight!

hell yea. my last trip to charlottesville was to the southern cafe and music hall to see castle rat on 3 october - since then, they've gotten featured in the guardian and a bunch of other mags!
