yee it's a bit rough though even when you do that LOL also reading back i want to clarify while you should aim to defeat the strongest possible teams in the unity cup races, if the outlook isn't good, choose a weaker team. winning is more important so you at least get a lil buff in the end!

from the very beginning of the run you gotta hit the white fire balls to create blue fire balls which you then tap to make your team get stronger!

and then, when you do your unity cup races, choose the hardest opponent possible, as you get a stat boost at certain ranks which makes it easier
