The president doesn’t have the authority to act as judge, jury, and executioner.

Killing civilians is a crime under both domestic and international law. That's why we and our partners are suing the Trump administration to demand they release their legal justifications for these unlawful strikes.
BREAKING: We’re suing the Trump administration to demand they release the secret memo they claim justifies their illegal strikes on civilians at sea.

Transparency must come immediately — while there’s still an opportunity to stop this cruel and unconstitutional bombing campaign.

We thought the Supreme Court would protect us from Trump's worst abuses. Instead it has facilitated them. The SC has allowed Trump to ignore the Constitution and do whatever he wants with no restraints. They don't even pretend to enforce the rule of law.

I don't understand why people think the Epstien files are going to change anything especially when it comes to trump. The guy just got convicted of 36 felonies and was immediately allowed to run for president.
I don't understand how anyone thinks he is going to go to prison or lose the presidency.

The problem for Republicans is that they’ve never had a serious health care plan; they define themselves by what they’re against. So when they have to produce, nada. Their “ideas” come from creepy billionaire-funded “think tanks,” and would fail in practice.
Why Senate Republicans aren't uniting behind a health care plan
Voting on any alternative to Democrats' Obamacare extension is likely to highlight the divisions in the GOP.

The USA and Europe were long-time allies—sharing tradition, values, and security interests. No more. Trump is trash-talking European states, undermining the EU and NATO, and aligning the US with European far-right groups and Russia. This seismic shift in US foreign policy is profoundly dangerous.

🧵Trump can be beaten.

A coalition of over 150k workers at University of California-students, professors, office staff-but not UC leaders- represented by 21 beat Trump in district court to restore federal grants.

"They had the courage to do what UC has not: Stand up to authoritarianism & win. "
UC workers beat Trump in court — and provided a roadmap for countering his attacks on universities
OPINION: On Nov. 14, a federal judge in S.F. issued a preliminary injunction blocking the Trump administration’s efforts to squash academic freedom at the University of California.

Not only is ICE snatching hard working people who are trying to earn a living, they’re taking their money too?

A witness recorded ICE agents taking a cash box from a taco stand in La Puente during an operation where four people were arrested.
