Must have fallen assleep…didn’t even notice Aziraphale brought my blanket. Slithering towardss the exit I leave the greenhouse, letting my snakeform slowly grow to my original size.

I was ambling along the village path when I noticed a small shop I’d never seen before. Curious, I sauntered inside and looked around.
After a little persuasion (/demonic miracle), I left the shop a few minutes later with a small package in hand.

Rather satisfied, I headed back to the cottage...

When I got to the bakery, I ordered the pastries Aziraphale wanted. The woman behind the counter gave me that look again. WTF was wrong with her? I hadn't forgotten my sunglasses, and I was dressed as usual. Humans!

On the way - didn't take the Bentley - I ran into Mrs Twitch, who immediately wanted to know if we’d put up our laundry line yet. I raised a brow, remembered the angel’s words about “connecting with the locals,” and muttered “No,” accompanied by a forced smile.

Even though it was still early morning, I was already up and ready for my six-shots of espresso.
Aziraphale wanted me to pop down to the village and pick something up for him. Asked him if he didn’t want to come along, but apparently today was his “first meditation session.”
