NEW data I've received: Just 5% of people detained by ICE since October 1 have had violent criminal convictions, 3/4 had no criminal convictions at all. Most "criminals" had immigration, traffic, and vice offenses. Not the "worst of the worst"...

In this way everything is a pie, so there are no good or bad pies. Pies simply are, and you can choose to accept or reject each thing-as-pie as you see fit
My pie take: if you put something in a pie crust it's a pie. Cream pie? Just cream in a pie shell. Meat in there? Still a pie. Is a pie crust filled with dirty socks a pie? Yes it is. I didn't make the rules, they were already a thing when I got here

Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance, and imo the smallest good thing you can do *after* remembering those who have been lost is to remember your trans friend/neighbor/relative/etc. who might need a hand or a ride or a smile or SOMETHING.
