Between the lack of homeowner insurance payout, the slow cleanup, the environmental impact study, the bureaucratic red tape, and the high cost to rebuild, it wouldn’t surprise me if most homeowners who lost their homes never rebuild.

The bigger issue becomes who comes in to buy up the land.

This is bad faith for three simple reasons:

- It's called AI slop because it looks like slop! The holodeck doesn't look like slop.

- Holodeck training data would have been properly 'licensed' or otherwise ethically sourced.

- Training and operating the holodeck is not a total ecological disaster.
