Had a steady one today at Colwick #parkrun for the milestone, it was so busy (>500 runners)!
I still always feel massively humbled seeing all the 100 & 250 PR t-shirts, it’s a long way to that hall of fame! 👏
No PR next week due to running the Alton Towers 10k… ☺️

50 parkruns!
Had a steady one today at Colwick #parkrun for the milestone, it was so busy (>500 runners)!
I still always feel massively humbled seeing all the 100 & 250 PR t-shirts, it’s a long way to that hall of fame! 👏
No PR next week due to running the Alton Towers 10k… ☺️

Really wanted to have blast at a Singapore #parkrun this morning - we landed at 5am for a stopover - however fatigue and the logistics of managing 2 tired kids (plus it’s 28°C at the 7:30am start time) means I’ll give it a miss…

I said goodbye to my best friend on Thursday after 13 wonderful years with him, and I’m absolutely heartbroken. 💔
It’s my almost my 50th PR, so I’ll be clapping those #hivizheroes again soon…

I didn’t do #Parkrun earlier today because we’ve had a really tough week…
I said goodbye to my best friend on Thursday after 13 wonderful years with him, and I’m absolutely heartbroken. 💔

Finally visited every one of Nottingham’s nine #parkrun (s) with a trip to Clifton this morning, next mission to run every PR in Nottinghamshire!
Made a lovely friend, Trixxy the Boston Terrier! 🐶
A nice flat course, but it’s all grass/trail, so not ideal for buggies.

Smashed my #parkrun PB this morning at the stunning Black Rocks (Derbyshire Dales).
A huge 360 turnout, although it’s not the most exciting course I’ve ever ran, the weather was glorious, loads of volunteers and a fabulous place to have a post run wander in the woods. ☺️

Wonderful fresh & frosty course, with an epic 290 turnout!
Even knew a timekeeper from work (Hey Kelly 😜), a cracking job by the marshals as always!
Really enjoying running at the mo, & getting consistently faster 👊 ⚡️

I didn’t attend an official #parkrun this morning due to not setting my alarm clock… 🫠
However I would still thank all the incredible volunteers that turn out every sat/sun to host these incredible events!

If you fancy a bit of amateur astronomy in the UK right now (19:00), if you use the moon as the centre of the clock, at 2 o’clock the brightest ‘star’ is Jupiter, and at between 7-8 o’clock, that little orange ‘star’ is Mars.
