Think u could pull off a good Simon cosplay or Clara Epsen. I toughly enjoyed Blue Prince though on the accessibility side it was brutal as many "clues" were impossible to see & find; cough hidden passageway bookcase frame clues. I also did way too much math since that was just one of the best rooms

Spendable balance is twitch double dipping on fees. They take fees on initial purchase and on spendable balance if used on subs. If used on bits then twitch takes no cut but user buying bits gives Xsolla their 3% cut

Twitch has limited viewers seeing limited ads that are a small segment of Amazon Ads platform that is really only used on Amazon properties as there big push is affiliate links on Amazon products through Amazon Live creator program and Amazon associates program for rest of streamers

YouTube only some ads skippable ( advertisers get higher click through rates on long firm content) so com rates are much higher. Google makes billions on Adsense so across all Adsense network they can sell ads fir YouTube, google sponsored and Websites using Adsense (90% of Internet sites)

Twitch users are mostly mobile, they will either sub to remove ads, turbo to never sub on any channel and not get ads but still support creator or bounce off channel or not get tracked as a viewer and circumvent system with ad blocker, vpn or extension

Urs why twitch com rates are so low it’s ad inventory will always be lower quality especially now with Cali ad laws that went into effect and unobtrusive ads become more popular. Twitch ad click through rates are at at min levels

Twitch still pays out on turbo views so advertisers don’t eat that cost. Advertisers see turbo analytics they just get charged for those ad views, same goes for normal subs.

There is no closed loop if anything. Twitch pays Amazon for services and it pays Xsolla for merchant fees on transactions or Amazon or PayPal all of whom take cuts except on bits where user pays those fees

Partnership cost them nothing now since affiliates and partners have same contract except for top 500 partners & staff who are also partners that have modified term agreements with various subs, bits and ads splits with assigned partner managers as support with bi monthly discord call meetings

Much much much different partner team then in past. New reqs were fur IRL streaners and partner team focusing on tiktok live, ig live influencers, brands and D list on up celebrities & notable people like athletes, musicians and devs

Not to duplicate twitter thread, it just seemed like a hard jury year in sense of lack Of options to even nominate even though criteria was opened up to include implementing features vs changing industry with creating new types of mechanics .

Just wait till season one comes out and they add in prop hunt multiplayer ect other stuff. They should’ve just stuck with 6 and release every other year like a normal sustainable dev studio who is not beholden to shareholders or making up fir an VERY overpriced market value sale
