I will read this! I'm so saddened when people parrot a revisionist history of the USSR where mass relocations are either denied or justified by saying "oh they were all landowners" because they just weren't. we need critical thinking as a left lol, it's necessary!! or else we will fail!!

it comes to conclusions a lil more anarchic than I think many of my communist pals are comfortable with but I anticipate that it'll be more likely that localized systems are built out of pure necessity than intentional state-level or global systems and I stand by it

I think it's a hazard to reduce the USSR to positive outcomes when it's a much more complicated thing and we should be open to learning from its failures when we look to building our joint future
