Integrated AI stuff is unavoidable at this point. I liked Brave the most out of all of them, so that's what i'm using. I still have Chrome installed in case there's a password I forgot 😂

Oh agreed! I honestly don't have much knowledge of how game dev education is these days (when I started there were none teaching anything more than machine or database programming - yes, I'm old). When I give talks at schools my point is always: anything can be a game and any inspiration is valid.

I feel validated because I never once cared about 'coded' in any way shape or form. And I am very white, very male, very straight. I did make some friends who early on were like...are you sure you're not gay? 🤣 So dumb. I don't give a shit about cars and like interior design...people get confused!

Or more theatre goers need to start writing games? 😅
I completely agree with the statement, but personally I have zero interest in theatre and never have. Like most creatives, game creators write about their interests, not something you can - or should - force (in my humble opinion).

Having to get up at 7 to get my kid to school for many years has still not extinguished the "I'm a night owl" type of person in me. Going to bed before midnight - which I have to - still feels icky to me.

I remember the highlight of my first GDC was visiting the park in SF by the Golden Gate Bridge where Sean Connery and Nic Cage meet up. The Rock is fabulous. It has Sean Connery! It has Nic Cage! It has Michael Biehn! It has Ed Harris! So many quotable lines. Banger score by Harry Gregson-Williams!

I think in later interviews (for the Ark) Devlin said he was over it. Well I guess I'll have to wait and see. I'm optimistic but I realize that's more because I really want a good new Stargate 😕

I didn't know Devlin was gonna be involved. I adore the movie, but didn't Devlin say he hated all the lore the show added? Not a good sign.
