Two chemical industry insiders now head the agency's chemicals office. Both have previously advocated on behalf of companies that make formaldehyde for the approach EPA just took that found formaldehyde to be less risky.

I understand that diehard cult members may be beyond rescue. I’m focusing on people who don’t follow the news and assume everything will end up just fine — people who don’t consider themselves to be “political.” We need those people to get in the fight.
