Yeah. There is a possibility that the tariffs will cause that increase in the cost, but it isn’t confirmed or currently happening as far as I can tell.

Today my daughter’s 5th grade teacher asked what two colors make blue and when my daughter said “none because blue is a primary color” the teacher told her she was wrong and that yellow and green make blue.

I started a new play through of The Outer Worlds and man, I’ve been comparing a lot of it to today’s political climate and society.

Some of y’all really voted for the Board thinking you’ll be living on Byzantium but you’re just going to end up as company property canning Saltuna in Edgewater.

They also recognized Shigeru Miyamoto (creator of Mario) and correctly identified his job.

Finally, all of the girls also recognized and correctly named Elon Musk, but none of them could figure out what his job was.

I found that really interesting.

These girls all know who Kamala is and admire her. This makes me both happy and sad. Happy because they look up to a strong female role model, sad because they have to endure the current administration instead.

I know some of these girls come from MAGA families too.

At yesterday’s Girl Scout meeting the troop learned about stereotypes through an activity that involved placing photos of people (both famous & local) with the jobs the girls thought they had. One girl spotted Kamala Harris, knew who she was, & excitedly asked if she could keep the photo.

My daughter’s friend wants to perform “Pink Pony Club” at her school talent show, but her mother wont let her because “that song is about gay strippers.”

I think it’s wild that my kid who is learning about Hitler & WW2 in school right now can see the parallels to what’s happening today, but grown ass adults cannot.
