A man sitting on his motorcycle. He is wearing a motorcycle helmet with a cover that makes his helmet look like a jack o lantern. POV photo taken from the rider on a motorcycle. It is night time and they are at an intersection. The road is wet and lit up by streetlights and stoplights. A photo of a radio tower at night. In the foreground a small section of barbed wire can be seen. The picture is angled up in a way that you can see almost the whole tower from top to bottom. The sky has a slight green tint to it A photo looking down a really long road at night. The entire road is lit up by streetlights and stoplights, but there are no cars to be seen. It is a very liminal photo because it is a 5 lane road, which should normally be filled with traffic.

"quadratic, exponential, logarithmic" had me DYING 🤣
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
That's huge, honestly. Do we contribute to society? Sure. But I'm tired of killing myself to do it. And that often leads to so many doubts and meltdowns, it's not even funny.

Being happy is enough. 💚

One of the good things about building your PC is being able to buy individual parts too, so you can "save up" by buying all the pieces you need one by one until you have all of them!

I use pcpartpicker.com for all my builds. They have some good build guides that you can customize how you see fit!

No I totally understand!! I'm an impatient motherfucker when it comes to large purchases 🤣🤣

Building your own is so fun! And it really teaches you a lot about how your computer operates together. Sounds like you won't need too much! 🤗

And I think we can all get there!! Support is EVERYTHING. Without it, we are doomed to keep repeating those cycles.

When we have our support groups, we're not unstoppable but we do have a more solid foundation to lean on when the unhealthy coping mechanisms hit. You just have to find your people.
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
That's the interesting thing, I think. In a world where we have that support group, that ammunition in the fight against our own brain, we likely never developed those bad coping mechanisms. It doesn't mean we won't lash out on occasion, but I think we have a clearer head for it.

Lmao, undiagnosed adults FR. That's such a common theme with us most of the time (like burnt out gifted kid). Having never received a clinical diagnosis, it makes sense to pursue the knowledge so intensely.
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
Riiiight? I have a couple ideas but nothing fully fleshed out yet. Some good stuff floating around.
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
"they fuck with you pic your rew" is how my brain read this 😭
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
Yes, but only in direct sunlight otherwise your battery won't charge rapidly.
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
I'll be honest, either way is a good choice, it's just a short term vs. long term decision. But typically you end up spending more in the long run with multiple short term decisions 😅

Also if you want help picking shit out, lemme know. I'm not the most knowledgeable but I like to help 🤗

Good because I do be yapping when I'm passionate. 😅😅 And autism and techniques have been at the forefront of my mind lately.

In fact, I've had less-then-preferable reactions to people I care about in those moments, so I've been able to go back to them after and apologize. Like "hey, I'm sorry I acted the way I did, I was really overwhelmed and I lashed out at you, that's not your fault. I apologize."
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
I have a tendency to suppress and repress a lot, so part of my unmasking has been attempting to do the opposite 😅

It's hard to do in the moment but afterwards I definitely have that interrogative convo with myself and it's enlightening.
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
Okay I'm going to write a damn short story or something about this dude because I literally cannot stop thinking about it.

How do we feel about the name Organus? 🤔
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
I think the most important thing is you feeling comfortable. Try new things, of course! But if they don't work out or feel right, you keep doing what you're doing, even if they are traditional. 🙂‍↕️ Bc then as a cis/traditional, you can normalize non-traditional roles and whatnot!

May I also suggest,

an unpowered nap.

I say keep saving. When I finally switched to a PC after years of a gaming laptop, the difference was STAGGERING. A dedicated GPU does wonders lol.

Plus, thing is 5 years old with outdated hardware and it's still kicking. Can't say the same for my laptop 🤣
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
That's probably more than you wanted 😅 but I do find value in my meltdowns. For me, they are natural and they have their own voice. It's just up to me to listen to them.

For that reason, I never want to silence that part of me, instead I want to comfort it so the discomfort is minimal. 💚
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
Not to mention, coping and stimming tools help me through the meltdowns, which is teaching me to normalize their use and understand which types of stimming help me through those meltdowns.

I'm sure there's science behind people feeling better after crying, I think meltdowns can be the same.
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
Am I mad at the world? Mad at injustice? Myself? Someone else? Etc. etc.

After a meltdown I have a small window of introspection in which I look back and say "Hey what caused that" so I can learn my triggers and understand my own interactions with the world.
mrtoeface.posts.motorcycles
As someone practicing unmasking, I'm a firm believer in feeling your feelings and that includes meltdowns. They are scary, horrible, and downright uncomfortable, BUT it can also ground me in a way. It allows me to get a better picture of what exactly the meltdown is being caused by.

I think I have a skyline around here somewhere...

100%. That's what most of my playlist is, videos with him and the boys. Lol. I just love all the shit they do together 🙂‍↕️
