I would say allowing students to demonstrate mastery of their learning in non-traditional ways such as: creating a self-portrait using math, proving parallelograms around our school, building conics with Pringles, or using manipulatives to explain an idea #MathPlay 🧮 #EduSky #MathsToday #ITeachMath

Tonight #calculus ss @lehmancollege.bsky.social were able to connect the axis of symmetry (from algebra class) to the slope of the tangent line. I deeply enjoy the consistency one finds in mathematics😎 #MathPlay 🧮🤸‍♀️

Growing up in Colombia🇨🇴, as many ss in LatAm, I learned algebra via the work of Cuban🇨🇺 mathematician Aurelio Baldor. After the revolution, he migrated to Mexico🇲🇽 then the US🇺🇸 where he was able to teach again👨‍🏫
