I love the message, but I'm troubled by the imagery. I don't feel that murderers and criminals deserve to reunite with the rest of us. They should face the consequences of their crimes.

I'm an American and I see us as the second pic too. I'm disgusted by who we've become.
And btw, I've never seen us as the 1st pic either. Your average good, kind citizen and government who looks out for all may be heroic compared to other regimes but never like an egotistical comic book superhero.

I hear you. I'll offer no advice and only empathy and compassion. I've been there myself and only due to having an escape plan as a retiree, am I not completely in the swamp of despair. This isn't an option for the majority. Sending you a warm hug, and wishing you comfort.

I agree to some degree. While we are pretty much on the same page here at bluesky, since leaving X, we left a void. The tide seems to be turning to some degree among disillusioned Repubs. I think that some representation over there could still be valuable to those who are beginning to see the light

Sanders is a politician, Cuban is not. The more I think of #FAFO and #subversiveaction, I have faith that both are doing their part within their own capacities. And I certainly hope that there are many on the inside circles that are also doing so.

If he is trying to get his message out to Republicans, X is the place to send that message. Here he will be preaching to the choir, and quite possibly filling potential red seats with blue seats (fans) at his events, thereby diluting his message. I hope that my theory is correct.

Exactly! And community college professors suffer in all the ways you mentioned, in spite of the valuable contribution they make to the underserved and lower income populations.

Hilarious! I suppose they think it makes them look cool!

I know so many community college profs who are having to work double the time for the same low pay because of all the time they spend AI checking. Community colleges traditionally pay far less, often 50 K or under. They work all day, attend meetings, and go home and work all night.

I'd also like to remain above any of the accusations the other side is guilty of. So when I do repost, I make sure there is a source cited, whether by vetting, or provided by the OP. I mean this with all due respect.

I don't doubt his trustworthiness. I consider myself a trustworthy person too. But on occasion I have been mistaken. I too get tired of vetting so many posts. So many that I'd like to share, but without sources, my credibility comes into question too. Even the best of us can err.
