This 🧵 is incredible.

And I am have found my limit for dank, dank shit today.
Each Epstein email has so many layers of slime people miss some. This email is Ken Starr, fired for covering up sexual assault, offering to help his former client Jeffrey Epstein's friend's sexual harassment charges by introducing him to Jed Rubenfeld, later put on leave for sexual misconduct. 1/

This was my response to a Washington Post Fact Check by @glennkessler.bsky.social titled "Trump and Epstein had a relationship, but there’s no evidence of Trump wrongdoing."

How'd that go?

Kind of crazy that evidence is mounting that the world is run by a group of rapists, pedophiles, and men convinced of women’s inmate natural inferiority, and the pundit class is trying to convince us that the real social crisis is that men are victimized and lonely because women have too many jobs.
You just know that “Did Women Ruin the Workplace?” bit would have done NUMBERS in this little clique

Literally ordered up a Blackhawk just to terrorize poor people.

Welcome to triumphant conservatism.
NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Meanwhile, here's an example of the horrendous things found in Hillary Clinton's emails—the only story worth covering for any serious news outlet in 2016, apparently.

This email is also regarding a child who suffered abuse from a grown man.

Least surprising statistic of the decade.

If I had daughters, I would bribe them to move abroad. I would subsidize the move.
"In 2025, 40% of women aged 15 to 44 say they would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity. The current figure is four times higher than the 10% who shared this desire in 2014, when it was generally in line with other age and gender groups."
Record Numbers of Younger Women Want to Leave the U.S.
The percentage of younger women in the U.S. who express a desire to migrate permanently has surged in the past decade.

Given today's revelations, I think NY law enforcement needs to ask "WTF"
Stop me if you've heard this before:

If the NYT still had a public editor, that person would have official standing to ask, WTF???

They axed the public editor. So it's up to the rest of us to ask, unofficially, WTF???
To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?

I wonder when they'll start waterboarding the Republican caucus, so that they all goose-step into the Epstein docs vote saying "they were teenage girls not babies, so sexual exploitation was totally natural and even blessed"
My god (sorry I’m late on a bunch of this stuff. But wow!)

According to this NYT report, the head of the FBI and the Attorney General are holding meetings *in the Situation Room* with GOP lawmakers they are trying to pressure to rescind their votes to release the Epstein info. This is madness.

Pay very close attention to who (among elites AND voters) choose to make excuses. Take names.
The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

"200 for a rub and tug...no sex"
Epstein complaining about facing felony solicitation charges because his "many girls" were mostly giving hand jobs.

Trump, Epstein, Pulte.

Put these malignant mofos on a rocket and fire it straight into the sun.
The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.

The notion abusers need to resort to conspiracies and subterfuge is more comforting than the truth that many people will readily look the other way when confronted with sexual violence if doing otherwise would even slightly inconvenience them
