👀 For the 2025 #NobelPrize in Physiology or Medicine I'm peeping the affiliations at times of award. I think it's a reflective shift to see that only one of the three winners is at the moment a "traditional academic". #AltAc #AcademicSky

Hi Bluesky! I'm not fond of social media, but I'll try and find ways to make my presence online bearable (for you). This totally (not) real newspaper is a great illustration of the endless conflict in publishing. This publication was not peer reviewed. My views are my own unless you agree with them.
State of publishing reflected in a fake newspaper article.

But who will check my Bluesky homework?

How was your weekend? Mine was full of dad tasks, which are my favorite, but somehow always leave me sore. My body is definitely trying to tell me that I'm not 7 anymore. Trampoline? More like a lumbar "vertebrae compressing device". A hike? More like a "carry your kids and watch your BP" fun run.

Hi Bluesky. Are you the new Twitter? I had a profile there where I believe I reposted something once. But Twitter is now our X and we don't talk about her. My friend @caitlyncardetti.bsky.social encouraged me to set up an account so she can make fun of how poorly I manage it. I live to entertain.
