Their friendship began a number of years ago—before Summers became Harvard’s president and even before he was the Secretary of the Treasury—and those close to Epstein say he holds the University president in very high regard. “He likes Larry Summers a lot,” Epstein’s friend and Frankfurter Professor of Law Alan M. Unlike other figures the Saudi authorities have targeted, such as the writer Raif Badawi, who was sentenced to 1,000 lashes for allegedly “insulting Islam”, Mr Khashoggi is hardly a dissident. Before he left, he was generally seen as close with the royal court, and even today describes the idea of regime change as “ridiculous”. Mr Khashoggi’s troubles began after he gave a speech to an American think-tank shortly after Donald Trump’s shocking presidential victory. He argued that Saudi Arabia should be “rightfully nervous about a Trump presidency” at a time when the kingdom was cosying up to the president-elect. Shortly thereafter, he was informed by Saudi officials that he could no longer write or tweet. After hearing stories of friends and colleagues prevented from leaving the country and even imprisoned, he decided to leave.

They should also mention that Trump was credibly accused of raping a 13 yr old Epstein victim in a 2016 Federal lawsuit - there was even a witness willing to testify!
This story received next-to-no coverage in 2016 — even though there was a corroborating witness — allegedly because it was purchased by a major publisher in order to bury it, according to award-winning investigative journalist Ronan Farrow. Jane Doe and her lawyer tried to bring attention to the matter with a press conference, but they canceled at the last minute due to a barrage of death threats. Jane Doe ended up withdrawing her lawsuit a few days before the 2016 Presidential election.

Bluesky finally gave her an explanation for the suspension and it’s bullshit

In early October, I referenced the “I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die” lyric of “Folsom Prison Blues” in response to a terrible Wall Street Journal article saying that Johnny Cash was uncool. I quote-tweeted the article and everyone understood the reference. There was no outcry. I stand by my assessment that Johnny Cash is cool. I do not like being the subject of so much attention, especially when I cannot see the discussion. But the BlueSky admins are now claiming that I wrote a post saying, out of nowhere, “I want to shoot the author of this article just to watch him die”. They are not posting a screenshot of the actual tweet, which shows that I am quote-tweeting an article about Johnny Cash, and that my post is obviously not a threat but a play on “Folsom Prison Blues.” BlueSky is lying and saying I posted this line on November 10. I did not. I posted it in early October, when the WSJ article came out. Sam Nunberg, a former campaign aide to Mr. Trump, said he raised concerns about the candidate’s involvement with Mr. Epstein before Mr. Trump officially began his presidential campaign. But Mr. Trump assured Mr. Nunberg that he had barred Mr. Epstein from entering his clubs after Mr. Epstein had tried to recruit a woman who worked at Mar-a-Lago. “Trump said, ‘I kicked him out of the clubs when this stuff became public, and I made sure NBC knew,’” Mr. Nunberg recalled. Mr. Trump appeared fully aware of what a liability his onetime Palm Beach pal had become.

While Kislin donated to other American politicians, Rudy was the only one to reward the creep by appointing him to the New York City Mayor's Council of Economic Advisors - In 2004, Rudy met with Yury Luzhkov, Moscow’s then-Mayor known for massive corruption involving the Kremlin and Russian organized crime - Rudy had such extensive business ties to the Kazakhs who were found guilty of running a massive criminal organization that a human rights group had reason to believe that his law firm was involved in their multi-billion dollar money-laundering scheme

Don’t listen to this “no longer” tripe - Schumer’s ties to Trump go back decades so he was never going to be meaningful opposition
From a 2017 Time Magazine interview with Chuck Schumer: “After World War II, a lot of these immigrant families started building houses. And [my maternal grandfather] built little rowhouses, and Fred Trump was building little rowhouses, too, and they knew each other. I think they had the same lawyer. And they would share supplies occasionally, and things like that.…. [Fred Trump] had a big black Cadillac. Now they were already wealthy. They lived in Queens, in Jamaica Estates. But they had a lot of apartment buildings in Brooklyn.” While you shouldn’t be judged by the caliber of the people you grew up around, Schumer and Trump rarely left each other’s orbits. As young men, they both attended the 52nd birthday party of ruthless “Red Scare” prosecutor and mob lawyer Roy Cohn. In 2006, Schumer appeared on Trump’s reality TV show The Apprentice, seemingly happy to praise the future President despite being a well known criminal and con man at that point. Andrew Cuomo — who has been praised as a “pragmatist” and “a strong and proven leader” and “the best choice for mayor” by Corporate Democrats — is a corrupt nepo baby with a long record of shady dealings and criminal ties. Andrew’s first law firm helped Trump cozy up to his then-governor father and his administration, including the officials who looked the other way when Trump shortchanged the City by $2.8 million worth of hotel property taxes in 1987. Later, as HUD Secretary, Andrew oversaw the unregulated expansion of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac after legalizing kickbacks to mortgage brokers who tricked people into taking on the most predatory home loans available. Articles about the mayoral race — which used to be fairly critical of Ripped Condom Andrew Cuomo — have become less and less honest about Mamdani’s challengers. Instead of referring to Andrew as New York’s disgraced former governor, they’ve started glossing over and completely ignoring his extensive history of scandal and corruption. This is especially true when it comes to Andrew’s connections to the global far-Right, like how he joined the “legal dream team” defending Dead Tooth Benjamin Netanyahu against charges of war crimes in Palestine.

The Grand Hyatt, the midtown hotel that UDC had helped Donald build in the ’70s, also got its own special state service in the Cuomo years. The benefactor again was Vincent Tese, whose agency was still the Hyatt’s landowner and was required to collect the hotel’s annual property tax payments and pass them on to the city. When Trump suddenly slashed his payment by 80 percent in 1987, UDC just accepted it without raising any questions, though it had a right to audit the Hyatt’s books under the terms of the lease. Several months later, the city asked UDC to allow its auditor general, Karen Burstein, to audit the hotel’s paltry $667,000 payment, and UDC went along. The city audit revealed that Trump had shortchanged the city by $2.8 million.
