Yes, and Husk, despite being a gambler, isn't a schemer. We've seen that he's a "tell it as it is" sort. He's unable to get out of the contract through his wits or twisting the truth. Just doomed to exist under Alastor forever.

My personal take is Husk wasn't a bad dude, but also Husk ASKED for a deal.

The others might have attacked outright or laughed at Alastor, but Husk played a game with him.

There is the fact that Alastor seems to uphold his end of deals. When Husk lost his soul was Alastors.
