Have you ever heard of Dwarf Fortress?

If so, this is reminiscent of the famous playthrough known as "Boatmurdered", where one of the players invents a device similar to this "for defensive purposes".

I happened to find the exact species just now!

It is black with orange spots on the side and has a "tail" that wiggles as it walks.

I had shared this earlier with some people and they say it is "larvae of the hawk moth family". I am not sure of the exact species, but they generally match the description of "has an antenna on one end".

I am interested in finding which species it was that you saw.

I have seen this happen only once before to someone and they were unable to figure out how to fix it. Did it fix itself on it's own for you?

I thought I had made it big enough to avoid the compression artefacts, but apparently not. Here's 800% size instead of 400%. This should work.
