Ppl push that 'weird' label on ppl so they don't have to accommodate. They can just claim you're weird and wash their hands. It's bullying, but accepted bc you're a social outlier.

I'm LUCKY that one of them is in my town. The other is Costco, 20 minutes away.

It just means, as a stranger, that I should be aware I might need to help someone at some point in my life.
Like giving up a seat on the bus for an elderly person. Or having quieter/less lights shopping hours at a business

My spouse and MIL are also AudHD. We often accommodate each other.
But that is life. Some ppl need different things. Like when I walk around Costco with my noise canceling headphones and sunglasses.
But, being diagnosed now protects me as I can't be forced to take them off.

I truly think the ppl who feel it's being over diagnosed are just mean and rude bc they don't want to accommodate ppl who need accommodations.
