I don't have a name who I can credit or thank for this, but a huge shout-out to whoever sent this to me - a collection of early 20th century recordings of Black musicians, the most prominent being B.F. Shelton and Mississippi John Hurt(!). excited to dig into the music and the liner notes over time.
