in retrospect the seed i got on my very first world had been unbelievably lucky. there was a small mountain right near spawn with a cave halfway up the rock face that wormed in one side and out the other. i moved into that little tunnel and had a spacious, fortified home right off the bat

a small hillside cave turned early copper-age residence. both ends of the tunnel are walled off with packed dirt. the interior includes many clay pots for storage and an immense firewood stockpile as well as a modest hoard of copper

i got excited to play vintage story again when i realized how rare it is to see building styles in vs that aren't medieval themed. i wanna see what it looks like when you get weird with it. my eldritch cottagecore world of big clay spheres and habitrail tubes or maybe something majoras mask inspired

ok my meager progress. i'm starting a new forever world

a breezy hut made of logs with a thatched roof, a small farm and an enclosure for hares and chickens. all on a grassy plain dotted with ferns and strange hills

the interior of the house with a straw bed and a deer pelt around a fire cooking scrambled eggs with carrots. a falx and a pile of flax string are among many miscellaneous items piled in the corners

the smithy is an open dome-shaped shelter made of wattle and daub. big circular holes on all four sides
