My question about most holidays (except Halloween) is: What food(s) can I cook for friends?
I've been lucky to have been invited to a very nice Friendsgiving while I lived in MN. Most years I made desserts, usually a side and often a pre-dinner snackie food.
Cooking for friends is happiness.

Today is the first time I will be cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for the Family. I've become the primary cook for the household, mostly because I'm willing to do it. But it's also because I'm not actually bad at cooking. But coordinating everything for a meal like this is a lot.

Reviewing my English homework with my mom, who is, like, a total wizard at it! I can do quadratic equations but I trip over my sentences, uh, constantly. Then I can hop on the BBS for trivia time!

Yeah, but microwaves are HARD. No one knows how to set the clock to the correct time! I've heard tale of the VCR which was even harder to operate than a microwave! But I think they're just a legend to scare old people.
