On my way home after an excellent trip. First, I went to Poland to visit @mwklab.bsky.social and give a talk together with @gg9761.bsky.social and Jimena Perez-Sanchez. Next, we all went to Berlin 🚂 to participate in #NeuPSIG where I got to hang out with more of my favorite scientists! #PainResearch

🧪 Built a new neurophysiology lab from scratch (>400 m², ABSL2+/GMO/clinical samples licensed)
🔬 Set up electrophysiology, calcium imaging & two-photon rigs
🧠 Recruited 8 incredible people (5 postdocs)
🌍 Secured 2 major grants (incl. @NAWA with UK & Danish partners)

🎉 I’ve been awarded the Ministerial Scholarship for Outstanding Young Scientists – thank you @NAUKA_GOV_PL for this honour.

After 18 months of silence here, it feels like the right moment to share what’s been quietly unfolding behind the scenes.
