I was the same; I never felt I was ‘allowed’ to identify as w/c simply because I knew long words, listened to radio that didn’t play music, & worked in the arts. Took me a long time to spot I’d grown up on a council estate to a single parent family and rarely earned enough to disturb a tax bracket
