I wouldn't be surprised if they announced some form of backwards compatibility via emulation for Xbox and Xbox 360 titles in the nearish future for PC honestly. I'm sure they see the endless "well its not a real xbox" comments from die hard Xbox users in regards to PC or the recent ROG Xbox Ally.

Also, the other Yooka-Laylee game, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is stylized off Donkey Kong Country so if the company who doesn't want to see as living off the spirit of Rare seems to be doing a very bad job of it.

They could always make another IP for something different.

People funded it because they wanted more Banjo-Kazooie. Also, I'm pretty sure there's ways to fix the experience that doesn't require having all movement options available from the get go. This just comes across as Playtonic selling a glorified New Game+ mode because it has nicer visuals.

Super Mario Odyssey - Is a 3D Super Mario title.

Yooka-Replaylee - A remaster of Yooka-Laylee, a 3D platformer inspired by Banjo-Kazooie / Banjo-Tooie which both has movement abilities unlocked as you progress. It is not Mario.

But know this, it's technically STILL in a limited release window! The only way it'll stick around and continue to perform is if people go and buy tickets. I ended up blocking him on Twitter cause I got sick of seeing his stupid ass posts and I still often have the misfortune of seeing them despite that.
