Let’s get to work.
There are three, possibly four, competitive #mnleg House races in the East Metro alone. If this is how things are going for Republicans, then they might as well hand over their half-time gavels now. #mnleg

Ds are competitive in a Trump +22% Congressional district in TENNESSEE of all places. And the fact that Rs couldn’t field someone in WOODBURY is a monumental failure on their part. #mnleg

Special elections (esp in January) are always funky, BUT THAT’S WHY YOU ALWAYS RUN SOMEONE. Because sometime you get lucky. I know because it happened in my own House district in a different special election in January 2016. #mnleg

To be clear, they weren’t going to win it. This is a Harris +25% district. But that also means that over a third of the voters backed Trump, and that not one of them was willing to step up tells a story. #mnleg

And if you think you need to look a certain way, talk a certain way, or act a certain way to make a difference, here's my message: that's crap.

I’ve been a legislator for three years, and I was legislative staff for 10 years before that.

The strength of a caucus leader is defined by unity when it counts.

Schumer either agreed to this deal or couldn’t keep his caucus in line. Either way, he’s clearly the wrong person for the job right now.

In all seriousness, I do appreciate the thoughtful way the Andrew approaches issues, and he does genuinely work in good faith. There absolutely are things we can agree on. #mnleg
