That’s why I almost never start from scratch — it’s too expensive. I piece things together from what’s already half-built. If I had more tokens to work with, I’d be building the bigger B2B projects I dream about. But for now, I stay token-conscious and make do.

If I’m being honest, every week of #30in30weeks I struggle to decide what to build. Most of my choices come down to which free or low-cost AI tools I can actually afford. I’ve learned which models will get me “far enough” for a project launch before the token bill hits.

Mailerlite’s cheap, but this is the 4th time an old draft was sent instead of my final email.

The editor’s very buggy too — I type or upload one thing, test emails show another. Think ill switch to the system I built. I tested on the 30in30 list. Will try my list this Sunday!

Last year I spent my birthday alone, in the woods in PA, hiking. I walked something like 13+miles. No music or anything, and spent the day doing introspection and self reflection.

This yr i'm back in nyc. I'll likely be spending the day alone again, yet, not sure how exactly.🤔

I love how tools like @FactoryAI and Amp just work. I tried delegating a new feature idea for my ADHD productivity app to Codex, and it instantly knew how to build the full prompt — context, tasks, everything.

Seems Code Supernova is indeed a xAI / Grok model... and i'm blown away, I truely thought it was anthropic

I also guess folks have figured out how great it is today b/c every IDE is saying its experiencing high usage of the model

I'm adding orchidsapp to my design process... its the only app besides cursor that I can show it the design i'm aiming for, tell it the tweaks I would like... and it follows 98% precisely in 1 take. Nearly no back n forth.
