Aren’t there like, a billion groups for ARAH?

Unfortunately, most of the G.I. Joe podcasts who were so interested in this stuff didn’t migrate over from Twitter, and nothing is worth going back there.

I locked the Twitter account off, but it’s still visible to anyone who used to follow it, mostly to look up information and trivia which is unlikely to be reposted

Sure thing, I just wouldn’t want to do it the same day, so stuff gets buried. Reposting several hundred pages of translations is a daunting concept, so Archive might be a better place to start doing that.

He starts carrying a machine gun rocket launcher in the first panel of the next issue

I’m hoping that sharing the first issue will convince any G.I. Joe collectors out there who might have a copy of issue 3 of the G.I. Joe manga, to scan and send it in.

So, normally I wait until I’ve translated an entire series before posting it. This is because of how important having all of the context is, to good Japanese translation.

G.I. Joe is a unique case though, because issue 3 (Comic BomBom November 1986) has proven all but impossible to find.

Not much, what’s Power Up with you, dog?

G.I. Joe material released after the 1986 series changed it back to Snake Eyes (Suneku-aizu).

This decision was especially curious considering “ai” is the Japanese word for “love” (愛), so making him “Snake Eye” makes it sound like his name is “Snake Love”.

Grimglock?

M-16s use a firing pin.

Heck yeah, that’s more like it.
Two heavy weapons Grimlocks, and a Dinobots combiner.

However, this isn’t the run of the mill Volcanicus. Lots of kids wished the Dinobots combined, “COMBOT 6” finally asks “what if Optimus could wear the combined Dinobots, like armor?”

Anyway, this is what Hasbro was doing before Mr. Potato Head.

On the surface, it’s like dressing up as a fireman or police officer, but keep in mind the constant fear and anxiety that something awful is about to happen, and you are powerless to prevent it.

Now you can cosplay as someone whose loved ones will survive, as long as you stay hyper-vigilant enough.
