I've no record of homophobic bullying, and didn't like the Record's position of the time (I've worked here since August). Its relevance to today is limited.

That's true on both counts Terry. But, to counter, I'd say on the first point an appeal may challenge that, as (on your second point) the Supreme Court was clear. We'll see.

And I know gay people who agree with me. Really, disagreeing is fine.

We'll see. I'd imagine Supreme Court ruling may form the basis of an appeal.

And for those wondering what the Record's apparently abhorrent view is: we agree with the law of the land - that single sex spaces for women should be reserved for women.

Sandie Peggie tribunal ruling should lead to resignations of NHS Fife’s board

The false equivalence of trans ideology with the earlier gay rights movement lies at the heart of the problem, not least for gay people as well as women. I'm happy to see some sense returning to the debate, although yesterday's judgement and your comment shows there's still distance to travel.

(and yes, I carefully checked the headlines today)

Hahaha - no, it doesn't. It's been a long, apocalyptic week. Michael MacLeod of the Edinburgh Minute also refers to the "send" button as the "reveal mistakes" button. He's right, as usual.

The prompt was "write a response to this tweet which sounds like it was written by AI in the tone of LinkedIn". It did very well, I think :)

[With apologies: above written by AI. Am mid-boring task, so entertaining myself doing this instead... Soon even that will be lost to the robots]

Fascinating adaptation! As human communication evolves alongside AI, nuances of personal tone become even more valuable. Finding ways to signal authenticity—whether through language, style, or even a well-placed ‘Oi oi’—is a challenge. Ace insight, ta for sharing! 🚀 #HumanTouch #AuthenticityInAI"
