Anime Legends dvd sets are so fucking chunky and for what? These guys devastate my shelf but I do ultimately think its worth it when they're often way less expensive than the newer sets

It's generally considered to be a Shit Car, but I hold a real fondness for the 1998 Buick LeSabre. Something about it speaks to me.

I read Junji Ito's Frankenstein last night. While undeniably a master of presentation, Ito's deviation from the source material serves to whitewash Victor, and his decision to have Henry and Justine more deeply involved in the 2nd Creature is strange.
Still excellent, but the changes vexed me.

I am a frequent "drop in on library booksales" person they will usually have some stuff for ridiculously cheap as long as you're okay with the thrift store/garage sale "never know what you're gonna get!" mentality

The S.A.V.E. line of anime dvds/blurays are the only evidence some shows ever existed at all. Its also just a bang up way to get complete sets of shit you'd never heard of for like 12 bucks. I'm various levels of interested in all of these and I hadn't heard of ANY of them before like a month ago.
