#31 - Crimson Shroud

I would play a dozen of these — a bite-sized RPG dungeon crawl from the folks behind FFT and Vagrant Story that REALLY commits to conveying the flavor of a tabletop adventure. And just like Vagrant Story, I forgive it for its handful of unfriendly design choices.

The bit in Brutal Legend where you can have the two leads make out on an infinite loop any time you feel like it can stay

Got the item I needed on battle 16, but I’m gonna finish this game with a playtime of about 7 hours and fully 2.5 of them will have been redoing this single battle — Matsuno why do you hurt me like this

I’d love it a lot more if they’d give me the freakin’ item!!! 😫😫😫😩

And man if the higher elements are active? You better watch out

(Including mine, actually, which were to take an edible and binge the Dead Space remake)

I do love it when my project manager has me fight 300 battles in Bariaus Valley so I can gain enough JP to Fly

I call that "enabling player expression through team building"
