Albuquerque needs a saturation ban on these *and* setback requirements from residential areas and other places where an ongoing loud noise disrupts quality of life. I saw one yesterday adjacent to the backyards of a neighborhood.

You mean to say the technology that repeatedly determines that the insides of houses need enough toilets for endemic giardia, but leaves beds out of bedrooms… may not be the best arbiter of appropriate treatment for the insides of people?

According to a new study, members of Congressional leadership perform 47% better in stock market trades than their rank-and-file peers, thanks to access to nonpublic information.

Today would be a great day to ban ALL elected officials from trading stock, don't you think?

The easiest thing for Democrats to do would be to stop confirming Trump judges, but they can’t even be bothered to do that. Just failure all the way down.

I really hate these people.

The “Real Poverty Line” pieces remind me: NM Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham may go down as one of the most CONSEQUENTIAL govs for progressive policies (universal college, universal childcare, cash xfers for homeless students) and one of the most CONTROVERSIAL for how it was possible (oil & gas $$).

Gender-affirming care saves lives
1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

Trump, DOGE, and the GOP are eviscerating core grants and feasting on the corpses. $120M cut for more tax breaks to the rich, to crack the fed $$ pinata for private profiteering, and to slam the US into ignorance. And it's not even saving money - spending is higher (not that we'd see the savings).
