.... we found Desert Island Discs being broadcast on Forces Radio, on January 8th, 1942. Earlier than the official reports! The truth is, DID was first commissioned to run via BBC Forces for 8 weeks.
So we got to thinking -- who, in WW2, has appeared on Plumley's show?💫

It’s a dog’s life in #NOTW, and there’s no finer example of man’s best friend than a Dalmation – especially this one. Fleet, owned by George Marshall, and ‘Bill’, sworn (and scrotched) by everyone at a certain RAF station.

It’s all happening in Malaya this week – spoiler alert, this is not how to curry favour with the RAF – but it’s also to and fro (again) in North Africa. New broom at the War Office?! Ooh sir, Suits YOU Sir!

In entertainment news this week, we can’t get enough of this week’s Hollywood releases – they’ve got to be seen to be believed!
