TIL #Hetzer is migrating domains into the cloud console. Also the CLI has support for managing DNS records 🥳 This is huge. No more talking to a separate API 🙌

Today I tried to revive an old pipeline with a #CloudFormation stack for #AWS #Route53. I was not aware that DNS records do not support drift detection. Manually modified record targets will not be corrected. Migrated the whole thing to #Terraform - works like a charm

Currently looking at runme.dev, interactive notebooks in markdown. Use cases are documentation with code samples but also live demos in talks. Expect more content soon.

@benetton I tried to reach customer care via the contact form on your German website. But it failed twice. I only got an error message from your mailer daemon. Can you please get me in touch with someone from customer care?

New post about the interactive debugging in buildx (docker buildx debug) accelerating the implementation/debugging of a Dockerfile https://dille.name/blog/2024/05/14/docker-buildx-has-an-integrated-debugger/
Docker buildx has an integtrated debugger #docker
How did I miss this? Late in 2023, Docker buildx v0.12.0 introduced an integrated debugger for image building. This is a great feature to help you analyze why a build is failing. Instead of reading the build output you can now check the build interactively after it failed.
