Leaving aside the sexism....this is insanely stupid.

Are we really saying theres an issue with portion sizes in restaurants thats causing obesity?
Utter insanity.

Elon MUsk belives he should be deported to South Africa?

What the racists forget to mention...

A significant part of the "white exodus" of Britain is east Europeans returning home & taking their British born partners & children with them.

Another of the many ironies of Brexit:

Brexit has led to reduced white immigration & increased white emigration.

When you ready something quickly in a supposedly mainstrean normal publication....and then slowly realise its utterly insane.

Are there really still sections of the media calling out the royals for wearing clothes more than once?

"Hey dude, you know that Bible thing?"

"sure, yeah."

"Well I've written it better."

Even if you think this a practical solution to asylum costs...

...the historical reasonance of *confiscating* personal jewelry from people that you have power over & are attempting to expel is really just too on the nose.

This is what happens when you stop treating history as a useful subject.

Not going to happen.

Reminder that despite the red poppy icon the Daily Telegraph is not your (& my) grandparents' Telegraph.

When visiting grandparents in the 90s for Sunday roast we use to do the crossword and read the excellent Sports & foreign news pages.

That paper died at least a decade ago.

UK Media is hilariously silly.

I will contribute $180 to Dershowitz's costs for his various Epstein-related legal cases if he provides evidence his brain is, "intact".

One of the reasons I left X was this.

Chatted with Drew about 7 years or so on twitter.
Standard liberal-centerist tho more conservative on foreign issues. If I remember correctly he was Australian.

In the 2 years or so since Elon came in he's been completely radicalised & infantalised.

Regarding the BBC clickbait article on "the premier League table without set piece goals".

A reminder this only makes sense if you exclude goals like Zubimendi's volley or indeed goals like Eze's goal against Palace - that is goals that aren't, in fact, set pieces.

This kind of clipping makes me wistful for more innocent times when everyone could chuckle at this absolutely 100% sure in the knowledge that it was both:

1. Meant as a joke
2. Never going to happen

I think we need to back and start again.
The whole lot.
Start all over.

If the Tories are at 21% (charitable given recent polling) then the old non-fruitcake tendency of the remaining Conservatives is less than 7%.

This simply isn't enough to build a coalition from.
Its a Labour versus Reform election with the LibDems to peel the remaining old centre right Tories off.

July 2026

Option 1
Pay £10 000 to fly to US & see 8 WC games.

Option 2
Pay £2000
Stay at home, wake up late, watch the cricket at ground during the day, go to a nice restaurant &/or a play every other day, watch the games live on TV due to time difference mainly after 10pm.

No comparison really.

"parties".

The one redeeming feature of the UK rightwing is in its propensity to be more Wodehousian than Wagnerian.
