I went up with the NLA a few years back. You have to stand very still (or be deep in conversation) to appreciate the movement of the turntable.

Please do - the language around architecture is shallow, technocratic, inward looking and means little to anyone not already invested. It’s also remained static while not just the profession but world has changed inexorably around it. We need to expand the critical field not just reboot it.

What is architecture and who is it for? Why a film about architecture and why now? Who is the film for? Who gets to decide what legacy actually means (spoiler, it’s not the architect)?

My other favourite is the cordless kettle sitting on the kitchen counter (always Alessi or Smeg) without its charging stand and very untidy cable.
