Puppeteering is absolutely a valid form of animation! It's basically a 2D animatronic, that's still a form of skilled animation!

Puppeteering is absolutely a valid form of animation! It's basically a 2D animatronic, that's still a form of skilled animation!

I think most animation software has the ability to hold frames, but I haven't had the opportunity to personally check any of the expensive ones lol

I don't have money either lol, I use regular procreate and eventually I bought procreate dreams in the hopes that it becomes better eventually 😅

I think it actually came through pretty well! I definitely got the vibes of a textured paint with a pencil added on top while the paint was still wet. It feels very organic, especially for a half body sprite.

I love the colours you chose and the cell shading is so cool. I love cell shading but I've been working on my semi-realistic rendering so this scratches that itch so well for me lol

The colours are so perfect. It's a large but cohesive palette and it gives these panels identity without sacrificing definition or contrast. When you add in the dynamic panel structure it gives such a whimsical and flowing vibe without making it feel structure-less. Absolutely beautiful

I'm feeling some Junji Ito vibes but with a smidge of western fantasy novel. It's possible just the elf giving the fantasy vibes though lol

That is quite possibly the most detailed dragon I have ever seen. You deserve so much more recognition, definitely repost that every now and then so it will reach a larger audience!

I love the flower star entity thing, I am unsure if that is a safe decision lol. They don't look violent, but I am still nervous. The design is so unique and striking, great job! And the pose actually looks really good, and it's a really hard pose!
