Here's a nice example from this very post, utilizing label feeds to help contextualize things like links. Nobody HAS TO subscribe to ANY of it, but they CAN. If Skywatch isn't to their taste, they can find a label curator that does, create their own, or not use labels at all. Same for filtering.

I’ve been working on highly scaled systems for decades, but it was still quite something to subscribe to the atproto firehose of every post+reply on a service like this with over 20mil users. Plus it made me think of the old UHF movie from @alyankovic.bsky.social 😂

There’s definitely a number of cards like that, particularly trainer cards, that lend towards specific types of decks, but then there’s trainers like Sabrina (or the obvious Professor) that are much more universally useful.
