Continuing with adding music to Bluesky that I wrote, performed, and recorded, this is an old musical piece called "Shadows" that I was happy is under three minutes long so I can actually post this one here. I played all of the guitar tracks and mixed them together with Audacity.

Trying to gradually put music up on Bluesky that I created over the years. This is two electric guitar tracks I recorded for a song by the Unnormals. It sounds better in this more simplified way to me now. The Unnormals was a little post punk project I worked on twenty years ago...

Victoria took this photo of me with the phone today while we were on our walk, and she thought that maybe I should put it up on the internet, since I rarely post photos of myself and she likes this one.

Trying to add more of my music to Bluesky. This is just me playing a song of mine on three acoustic guitar tracks mixed together with Audacity. Audacity is a free open-source program. This is an older recording, but I was happy with it, so I am adding it to Bluesky since you can add music this way.

Oddly enough, just a few blocks away from the free library filled with food, I came across a yard sale. The people were rapidly moving out of the country to New Zealand, so they wanted to simply give away most of their stuff. I took as many books as I could carry. Victoria has not read any of these.

I just saw this on the street, and it strangely captures the moment very well, considering how billionaires wanted the Republican Party to keep poor children, the elderly, and the disabled from eating properly for the amusement of billionaires. Whoever put food in this free library is a good person.

Happy Halloween to all who enjoy being a bit silly and lighthearted once in a while. Victoria got these really inexpensive spooky masks last year and she really likes how they actually do scare people at night in the dark. She is actually still out just walking around enjoying that experience.

I just remembered how to import music to Bluesky without linking anywhere else. The video file just needs to be under a certain size, so a still image will work. This is music I wrote, played on guitar as two tracks, and mixed together with Audacity.

It occurred to me that I could take a photo; to visually show the difference between the acoustic I have been playing for forty years and this other guitar I just acquired yesterday that was discarded in a neighbor's trash. They are similar but do sound slightly different. The Martin is better.

The weather here has been very good lately, so good that it was hard not to agree with Victoria when she suggested taking a break from working so hard on the computer and following her outside to enjoy a great day. It is surprisingly important to take little breaks and go outside in the fresh air.

Victoria took this photo of me at the dentist office, and I thought I might as well post an image of myself, as I rarely do. I notice that Google finds images on Bluesky and wants to associate them with me, but those images are never my own content or likeness. So, perhaps this may help them.

Of course, you can easily merge those two Creative Commons images plus a photo of clouds in a program like Gimp which is also free and open source, to play with colors and saturation and stuff, which is amusing, at least to me. This one is Creative Commons as well.

A less colorful version, but also Creative Commons, so feel free to copy, alter, and use however you like.

Feel free to copy this image to use if you have any reason for using an image like this on any platform that you might want it for. I used it twice today, but I may need it for later with other places in the future. I am happy to have found Bluesky!

Testing out how importing vertical video works on here with this totally fictional tabletop game design I thought was a fun idea. I already had the 3d assets which I made in Blender, but you really can make simple games with folded paper cubes pretty easily in real life.

Looks like you can create a series by just adding replies. Neat.

Tested out the scanner to see how a print from twenty-five years ago looks when you make it digital. Film was a completely different medium, and I really do miss it sometimes. Of course, the zoo trips are easier and cheaper with digital photography.

Testing out how photos look on Bluesky when you import them, as I had not tried that yet. Just an old photo I took, from long ago, possibly from another life altogether.

Testing out how imported video looks on here with a little short square video I made in Blender for a game concept called Le Bien Contre Le Mal that I am working on.
