It might seem silly, to say so, but I really learned valuable things from many people on Bluesky this last year. There are so many brilliant and wonderful people on here that have taught me so much and kept my spirits up through a pretty tough year. I do appreciate it, and it has meant a lot to me.

When I was a child, every Tuesday it was read to me by my grandfather, who thought it fundamentally important for me to comprehend, so that I might grow into a decent human being as an adult. I think it was very helpful, just as teaching me to play chess while we discussed it was. He was wise.

Whether a person believes in the Bible or not, the Sermon on the Mount, is actually filled with wisdom that is easily embraced by most moral people. It is really worth reading, for anyone who has not, just as all of the important religious texts are worth reading and comprehending in this life.

There is very little middle ground in the moral teachings of Jesus Christ, in the Sermon on the Mount, so taking a moral discussion in this direction tends to remove all ambiguity. I find that doing this tends to create indignation, followed by silence and confusion from the formerly righteous.

It is very important to comprehend the actual teachings of Jesus Christ, when discussing morality with a Christian conservative, and to keep bringing them back to the actual words of their savior, because I find many Christian conservatives do not really fully embrace these teachings properly.

Mike from Louisiana in recent months has chosen to represent only his own selfish interests, and his poor performance in the House of Representatives has led to great harm for the country, harm that was entirely unnecessary. Mike should no longer be Speaker. Mike should resign now.

For myself, I do take breaks and am lucky enough to have a wonderful partner in real life who reminds me every day of the beauty in humanity and why it is best to not give up on the people living on this planet. She reminds me, simply by existing as she is, so I am truly lucky to know such a person.

It is still overwhelming, when there is a serious shift on a national scale against human rights, morality, and ethics, that is driven by a powerful political party and funded and supported by the richest people in the world. That is certainly overwhelming, to any sane and reasonable person.

As long as they are proprietary, and the data that is used to train them and maintain them is shielded from public view, it will be impossible to determine when they make errors if that is accidental or on purpose to some degree. It is an awful lot to trust companies with, all things considered.

With so many people who have been here for years contributing peacefully to our society, would it not make more sense to reform immigration, by figuring out faster and better ways to help them become citizens in these many cases where that would be best for the country and the immigrants involved?

Based upon how often I fail to get humans to understand what I mean, and my own experience of many misunderstandings that I definitely contributed to accidentally, I fully expect bots to misrepresent me. Nonetheless, I would hope that they were not designed intentionally to produce that likelihood.

These tech billionaires are buying nuclear power, controlling space programs, building armies of robots, and taking many contracts with our government related to AI, data, and the military. This is actually a pretty big deal, but it is hard to cover, when the President creates a circus on purpose.
November 19, 2025 at 12:45 PM
It seems like once a week, responsible journalists should ignore the circus created by the President intentionally for his own reasons and focus on the radical changes occurring in our federal government that are not getting any news coverage really. These are country changing stories, honestly.
November 19, 2025 at 12:42 PM
Since these tech billionaires will make these same deals with other countries, and influence those countries in the same ways, through piles of money given to politicians and control over media, it seems like a disaster waiting to happen. It is basically mindless to let it occur.
November 19, 2025 at 12:24 PM
This administration is blurring so many lines between AI billionaires and the federal government, which is undoubtedly related to how these billionaires keep giving the President piles of money and extreme loyalty with their control of media to the best of their ability. It is really quite wrong.
