With Burger King on the board, that’s most of the burger joints. I think Wendy’s is the straggler. Not very veg-friendly, sadly. Even their salads are meaty!

I have yet to try Odd Burger. The reviews suggest the food is good but the restaurant is understaffed. I intend to check it out eventually.

Shout out to New Leaf, a vegan food truck here in #LdnOnt that serves up a flavourful beet-based burger. I was happy to see that New Leaf now has a spot in the Western Fair market! 😋 The frozen beet patties are available for purchase to cook at home.

The A&W burger is my fave. The plant-based patty is topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, ketchup & mustard. Adding cheese is an option. The sandwich is often enough. A&W has a 2nd option - the Masala burger. This patty is made from paneer and veggies. Not as filling, but tasty.

I’m not keen on the Harvey’s veg patty. But Harvey’s has a few perks: 1- selecting your toppings; 2- 10% discount with CAA card; 3- vegetarian gravy so poutine is an option here 🍟

Gave the McVeggie a try. Once is enough. No flavour, with only basic toppings of shredded lettuce and a sauce. There’s a spicy option but I doubt I’ll bother.
