Last played : 1754, The French & Indian war - Academy games
Winning with the Canadian and French armies by one point. I experienced the Natives' turnabout and a strong ability of the French to miss their target at each fight.
Great game. But is the winner always the side who plays last ?

Entertaining Japanese horror tale with a wonderful B&W photography. Each shot is marvelously composed.

Always a pleasure to lose at this board game.

Last Watched : The Swimmer - 1968
A man decide to swim back home across the pools of his neighborhood.
Best pitch ever and great unfolding story. You are on the edge throughout the film to understand the main character’s reasons.

Haunting movie. Definitely I need to rewatch it.

Last watched : "One battle after another" - 2025
A fast-paced action movie with a social subtext on migration policy and racism in the USA.
The last act is the weakest but raised by a very beautiful car chase.
Fun, well played (except Sean Penn overplaying), don’t miss it !

"Ciceron" is finally out.
- Send your servants through Rome to gain the favor of the Senators and place your family as the most powerful in the empire. -
I had a very good time working on this one, particularly the board and the rulebook.

Last work🔥🔥🔥 : Just received my production copy of Ciceron published by SweetGames. It was a long journey, rather solitary but always joyful. Quite proud of the final quality. :)

Call it "Ming".
Just finished to customize my white Jackson guitar. Still missing a coat of varnish to fully complete the porcelain render.

Last watched : The Last Stop in Yuma County.
Crime thriller in a remote desert gas station.
Well constructed and entertaining. Sadly the characters are rather bland. The cast is uneven, but Richard Brake is doing well.
Watch "Identity" or "Bad Times at the El Royale" instead.

Great cast and great script.

Last watched : "Laissez bronzer les cadavres" (2017).
A shooting under a blazing sun.
Great adaptation of the book. The style, a bit too mannered, cuts the action a few times and dilutes the intensity of the story. In a word, too much extreme close-up shots.
Otherwise very good B-movie !

Last watched : "Mars Express". Good plot (stay focus!), nice animation and visual style, strong world building. Weak french dubbing though.

Last watched : "Belladona of Sadness" (1973). A nice tale, a bit slow but visually amazing. Every shot is rich, with a very strong composition.

Happy to receive my copy of the book for which I designed the cover. Several easter eggs are hidden there. Will you find the games they refer to?
