Yeah, a good point but I still wouldn't go back and most people that I know have EV's can easily afford the extra or their company pays. The real challenge for the future is for mass usage & is way beyond this. Needs transformational investment and wont be massively impacted by today's announcement

As an EV owner I am happy to take that. I will still be way better off compared to having a petrol or diesel and I am doing the right thing for the future.

Just had the DNA shock that I am 75% Welsh and not the true English woman I believed myself to be. Will he make me move to Wales or can I stay here? And don't the Celts pre date the Anglo Saxons anyway 🤔 😝 What a plonker he is!

Agree. Not sure this was the time and the place to do it to best effect though. Ultimately it does need to be reviewed and brought up to date if it is going to survive the next 75 years with the continuing rise of the far right across Europe. Do it before it is too late.

It wouldn't have passed. That isnt the purpose of the 10 minuter. Ultimately it never would pass given the numbers.

The general public are not interested in the fine nuances of parliamentary 10 minute motions. It didnt make any headlines and was largely irrelevant as are most small motions.

They dont need to. This parliamentary sub process was so far down the news agenda it was an irrelevance to 95% of the country.

It is only a 10 min motion. Voting for it gives it credibility. Ignore it and it goes away anyway.

It's only a 10 min motion. It wouldn't have led to anything. Not a meaningful motion as such. The abstention should however be explained - most likely linked to giving it not wanting to give it any credibility.
