turned out pretty good

outer crust got a little too hard but the fluffy stuff under was perfect and bready to play off the fillings

like a pizza soup bowl

gonna save outer crust bark and make bread crumbs for fried chicken or pork chops

it turns out a touch diff each time i make it

delicious
a two inch deep thick crust chicago style pizza on a resting tray to settle layers the pie now cut open. juicy but no running juices which is good.

dough pressed into 9" cast iron skillet, sauce cooling in large bowl, pepperoni/sausage/monterey jack slices ready to assemble slices laid against dough going up the sides for max cheese thick layer of peppeoni, smattering of sausage chunks on top of cheese all topped with 28 oz can of chopped tomatoes w onion red pepper and mushrooms cooked down till moisture gone

i typically read more than 1 book at a time

and this combo is really odd

but confirming of opposite books' basic premise

Creation of Patriarchy is 1986 and straight forward

Food of the Gods is 1992 & fills in gaps of Creation

through psychedelic mushroom theory

and they're lining up nicely
two book covers. the left one is Food of the Gods 1992 by Terence McKenna subtitled The Search For The Original Tree Of Knowledge. concerns our simian history of food and religion. on the right is The Creation of Patriarchy 1986 by Gerda Lerner a more straightforward study of the oppression of women/queers/artists. subjects are almost the same. we once loved and respected and took care of one another. and then that went away. why?

recently had a new condo/apt building come to fruition next 2 shop

broke one window

dug up new landscaping with upturned young trees, pulled up landscape fabric with new soil on top. spray painted on the building in red is "Kill Your Landlord" window screen decoration of "Kill Cops" in red spray paint, a large hole broken in top pane "Land Back" spray painted in red on outer wall another shot of "Kill Your Landlord" on the front of this unit

Toys of the characters from the animated Nikolodeon show Real Monsters. I don’t remember their names. The soft short creatures blew air or water, all the main characters did tricks with levers and such. Marvel Comics Super Specials of KISS 1 & 2 cover art. i copied so many images from these learning to draw as a kid. i had so much KISS shit. i bought any magazine that had even the tiniest mention of them. 2 trapper folders full of pics and mags. don't know where those got to tho. 2 page spread art of the members of KISS falling through some psychedelic sky. i don't remember the story. Romita was the artist. amazingly enough this beauty of a 2 page was not centerfold-that's where the 4 page poster was attached. cover of Your Flesh magazine #31 1995 showing 2 drunk shriners in a strip club with classic Art of Coop strippers in background. Coop's art is featured article along with Boredoms, Cormac McCarthy, Killdozer etc. an always thick magazine that would take a month to read all the words. i miss cheap magazines

Freeform Portland dot org did DJ challenges to create half hour sets based on a premise. this one was dreams.
