I guess there is also the fact that the space around me has a genuinely huge effect on how I feel, and so I'm basically decorating with my autism lens on?! Which means not too many things screaming at one another or I will literally hear screaming.

*Obviously* it doesn't matter what sort of bloody curtain poles I put up so long as they hold curtains. And yet I do still have to pick something. It's a fine line between, this is pretentious and daft now, and oh yay I get to choose a thing.

I often find myself torn with house stuff because it's such first world problems and none of it really matters does it. It's such epic privilege to do a renovation.

Another rec for Next. In certain styles they will also do between sizes. Their petite length on the classic bootcut is perfect for me at 5'2". I found M&S difficult because their high rise is too high rise for my short frame.
