my nervous system is crazy dysregulated so it calming down even for a little while made things reflexively go "WHAT IS THAT. AAAAHHH WHAT". i have incredibly high hopes if just one session did that much for me though

he is now talking, and he can drink ! and eat ! hes fighting hard.
on a personal note, im now enrolled in the safe and sound protocol in therapy, and gotta grab some cheap over ear headphones to begin properly. i am so grateful for the help so far waah its been Huge

we got.. all mostly positive news today. his prognosis went from dismal to guarded. its all up in the air still, but at least a bunch of his really scary levels have Significantly evened out

the latest update is that if he does not improve in the next day or so, they will be taking him off fhe vent and just ensuring hes comfortable. even if he pulls through this somehow though, i dont think he will ever be home again.

im just sort of in a state of shock. he declined incredibly rapidly.
